(A) English Fun Day
All the P.1-P.6 students have a happy time on English Day every Tuesday. There are lots of game stalls such as Scrabble, Rainbow Throw, Bowling Alley, Dartman, Ping Pong, Token Pitch, Fly Fly Fly, Basketball and Fishing Kiddie. What a wonderful day!
(B) Excursion Programmes
Making a Chocolate Cake for Fred’s Birthday
All P1 students helped celebrate Fred’s birthday! The students followed a recipe to make a chocolate cake. They sang and danced. It was exciting! Finally, they sang
“Happy Birthday” and they ate their cakes. Of course, the cakes were delicious!
The charity organization “Animal Asia” came to our school to share the concerns and skills of pet owning to our P2 students. They brought with them two friendly dogs to teach our students how to approach, walk, play and take care of dogs. Miss Chung and Miss Dani also brought their dogs for our students to meet! Fantastic!
A Visit to Kadoorie Farm
All P3 had an interesting time at Kadoorie Farm. They took a notebook to record what they saw, heard and felt. There were a lot of unusual animals here. After the visit, the students used their notes to write a diary about their day. They remembered seeing huge fat pigs, squirrels and leopard cats. Wow!
Ping Shan Heritage Trial
All P4 students enjoyed their historical visit to Ping Shan Heritage Trial. The students watched and learnt a lot about the old Hong Kong villages and traditions. The students were really interested in the old buildings and special attractions.
All P4 students had a visit to The Peak. They went there by the Peak Tram. The students worked in groups to question tourists about the most attractive places in Hong Kong. The students loved talking to the foreigners, they met tourists from U.K., Japan, Australia, Korea, Europe and America!
All P5 went to Stanley and interviewed some westerners about their favourite places in Hong Kong. Our students were confident enough to speak English with them. Some students even showed westerners the ways to the toilets!
New Terrorities West Landfill
There was a post-exam activity for P6. Students had a pleasurable experience after such visit. They learnt how to classify rubbish into differen t types. They listened to the explanation given by the staff of New Terrorities West Landfill. They gained a lot from the workshop.
